This stylish top-floor apartment, in an incredible location overlooking the beach at Caswell Bay, has stunning views from the balcony and the floor to ceiling windows in the living room. With a double bedroom and a sofa bed it makes an ideal base for a romantic coastal retreat or family beach holiday.

Step into the communal entrance hall and go up to the third floor, where you’ll find the apartment with comfy furnishings and relaxing decor. The large windows in the open-plan living space let in lots of light and there are amazing views from the comfy sofas and armchairs. There’s also a TV with DVD player, a video player, and a CD player, and a sofa bed for two guests. There’s everything you need to cook delicious meals in the kitchen and enjoy them at the dining table. The relaxing double bedroom has a large, fitted wardrobe, and there’s a contemporary shower room. Open the patio doors out to the balcony where you can sit and appreciate the awe-inspiring views of the bay.

Head across the car park and lawn to the private beach access to spend the day at the bay, just over 150 metres away, enjoying the sun and waves. Have a go at sea kayaking, paddleboarding or surfing, and pop to the kiosks right next to the beach for an ice cream or lunch. There are beautiful walks in both directions on the coast path. Secluded Brandy Cover is 1 mile away west and Mumbles village is 2.5 miles east, past pretty bays, including Langland (1.5 miles), which has another lovely beach and a great seafood restaurant. Ever popular Mumbles is home to numerous places to eat and drink out, as well as a mini train, crazy golf course and a super range of shops.

The lower score on the comfort and quality of the property question was entirely due the bed which was very uncomfortable and sloped down on one side, everything else was very good, the location and views were absolutely perfect. Original cottages were excellent in keeping us informed prior to the holiday so big thumbs up to them.

Altogether very satisfied - friendly staff and everything provided in the property. Just 1 mark down on the cleanliness due to drinking glasses sticking to the shelf. The balcony was covered in cobwebs and bird droppings but we cleaned it so all was well.

The property looks a little tired in parts and would benefit from decoration / updating. The blinds were broken (a note had been left apologising for this) and the dvd player was erratic and would get stuck and it also had colour issues. Also three of the four windows had very badly misted sealed units which greatly impaired the fantastic view ofRead more the bay. ?? Unfortunately the previous occupants had not left all of the crockery / glassware in a clean condition, with most of the glasses being completely stuck to the cupboard shelf! Not good. Hide

The electric fire was very noisy. It only works with a fan which meant there was a constant noise while ut was on which in February was a lot. The double glazing on three of the four windows was faulty so the windows had condensation partially obscuring the wonderful view of the beach. Redcliffe apartment block looked tired from the outside so first impression was not great, but once inside the apartment the modern kitchen and bathroom were very nice, and the balcony view fantastic. The stairwell security light at night was a bother so would recommend the owner try and block the bedroom windows further than the blinds already thRead moreere. Dealing with Home from Home from booking to receiving damage deposit return has been very professional. The property location was unbeatable. There were slight problems with bedroom furniture- both bedside drawers had fronts falling off and supports under bed were displaced.
