Barry Tourist Railway

The Barry Tourist Railway is part of the Barry Rail Centre, and since taking control of the site in late 2009, Cambrian Transport has begun the process of bringing the Centre back into full operational condition. The Railway operates services for passengers on dates throughout the year from Barry Island station to Barry Waterfront station.

They use either their own trains (a refurbished 1957 Diesel Multiple Unit or a Class 73 diesel locomotive hauling passenger coaches) or one of their regular visiting steam locomotives.
