As we all know there are plenty of fantastic things to do in Wales that don’t cost a thing, after all you can’t charge for a wonderful view from the top of a ruined castle or dolphin spotting from the coast path in West Wales.
A major collection of works by the artist John Piper has been acquired by the National Museum Wales. Now on display at the Museum in Cardiff, I took the opportunity to view these last weekend.
Get crafting at the National Wool Museum this January. For those interested in crochet there are beginners’ workshops on 11 and 25 January. There is also an Introduction to Spinning workshop on 18 January.
