Holiday cottages in Capel Curig

Capel Curig is a charming village set on the River Lugwy in the heart of the Eryri/Snowdonia National Park and has been a centre of habitation in the area for centuries with the remains of a Roman fort not far from the current settlement. Surrounded by mountains and dramatic terrain, it is not surprising that today the village is a hub for all of the outdoor activities that Eryri/Snowdonia is renowned for and the home of the Plas-y-Brenin National Mountain Sports Centre. Enjoy a special holiday in North Wales with a stay in one of our lovely Capel Curig cottages.

Even though it is small, Capel Curig has a number of cafes and outdoor gear shops, so whether you are walking, mountaineering or mountain biking, you can make sure you have the correct kit! If you want to travel a bit further afield around the national park, Capel Curig is served by the Sherpa bus network and is a great base for visiting Llanberis, Llanrwst, Caernarfon, Betws-y-Coed, Beddgelert and Porthmadog.
