This delightful three-bedroom property, set in Pontesbury village, overlooks the Shropshire Hills and Welsh mountains and offers a tranquil and relaxing escape. It’s a good choice for a family or group of friends wanting beautiful countryside, invigorating bike rides, and rejuvenating walks in nature.

A steep, sloped pathway leads to the front entrance and inside the ground floor provides ample room for everyone to spread out and relax. In the open-plan living area contemporary furnishings, whitewashed walls, and abundant natural light create a welcoming and homely atmosphere. You’ll quickly find yourself sinking into the plump sofa, with a drink in hand, and enjoying the company of loved ones. A cosy wood burner provides extra comfort and charm on chilly days. A chic kitchen overlooks the lounge and is well-equipped so you can show off your culinary skills. Enjoy a bite to eat at the breakfast bar or for more sociable meals, gather at the dining table, with countryside views as your backdrop. Come slumber time, head upstairs, and choose between three inviting bedrooms: a super-king-size and two doubles. The rooms are light and airy with calming pastel tones creating a serene ambience. Outside, step through an archway to the elevated garden. Children will love running free on the grass, while you can relax on the gravelled terrace and soak up the stunning surroundings.

Walkers can enjoy countryside walks straight from the door while cyclists can easily access the National Cycle Route. For a more leisurely pace, browse the village shops or savour a delicious meal at one of the friendly pubs or restaurants. Lovely peaceful location, but not too far from shops in centre of village. Great walks from the front door. Had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

This is an extremely clean place - even by Swiss standards! And a gorgeous view from the breakfast/dinning table. There are 3 bedrooms on top (narrow staircase) with bedside drawing canets, one with a wardrobe, one wardrobe in the hall. Upstairs large bathroom with bath and shower. Additional downstairs bathroom with shower. Kitchen has lots of chiRead morena and cutlery etc. We strongly recommend this house. Hide

A clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a beautiful setting. There were lovely views from the cottage, and walks directly from the door. We had poor weather so did not use the outside space, but it was tidy and well maintained. The cottage itself was light and airy due to the conservatory and the glass roof in the hall/cwtch area. Everything was clean & the kitchen was very well fitted for our needs. The cottage was warm & bathrooms both great. For six adults the dining area is a squash and the bedrooms are small yet spotlessly clean.
