This charming country-style cottage set in a picturesque rural Welsh village is an excellent choice for two dog parents who want a balance of nature, nearby amenities and history. Enjoy romantic evenings by the wood burner effect electric fire and candlelit dinners in the farmhouse-style kitchen during your couple’s escape. In the daytime, you can explore both the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Wye Valley National Landscape.

Inside the property is a characterful lounge with neutral-toned decor with a pop of red, antique-style furnishings and a wood burner effect electric fire. Relax on the sofa or armchair while your four-legged friends curl up on the patterned rug. Continue into the airy farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with stone flooring, wooden countertops and neutral tones throughout. Upstairs, you’ll find an elegant king-size bedroom which is kept bright from the skylights. Completing the interior is a compact bathroom.

A very cosy cottage with all amenities. A very pleasant and relaxed one week break. Mrs Inkin -as host, is a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful. A very nice location in a lovely village with its castle, a pub and a small post office/shop. Our Kings Charles Cavalier loved his walks in the area .

We absolutely loved staying in this delightful cottage, nestling in the beautiful Welsh countryside. We were given a wonderfully warm welcome by our host who had thoughtfully left fresh flowers and eggs for us on our arrival. This little coach house is very small but was perfect for what I needed. I had two dogs with me. Porter who is a cocker/collie cross and a cocker puppy called Tonik. The location is convenient for a morning and evening walk round Grosmont Castle grounds with the dogs and there are so many other wonderful places to visit just a short drive away. You'll find this cottage next to a busy road. So if you want a quiet location I wouldn't recommend this house. It was a lot of money for a house that didn't even have decent coffee making facilities. Disappointing!

The coach house is a lovely place to stay, comfortable and well equipped. The owner is so hospitable and very helpful when we had a problem with our car. She was happy for us to sit in her beautiful garden and we enjoyed our stay here very much. Grosmont is a pretty, friendly village in stunning countryside. Cant recommend the cottage enough.
