This charming stone-built cottage with traditional country-style interiors is an excellent base for a small family or couple seeking a getaway in Wales, near northern Brecon Beacons National Park. Dine alfresco with nature views from the terrace, snuggle up by the fire in the lounge or get competitive in the games barn. During the daytime, you can explore the nearby cycling trails, hiking routes and quaint market towns.

Make yourself at home in the cosy neutral-toned lounge with an exposed brick feature wall, a wooden beamed ceiling and two plump leather sofas sitting on either side of the coffee table and wood burner. Inside the airy and well-sized kitchen is a black and white fitted ‘L’-shaped unit and a dining table with four chairs. Follow the stairs to the bedrooms – a green king-size with a wooden beamed ceiling and an en-suite bathroom plus a twin room with an en-suite shower room. Outside, you can enjoy a private garden and terrace area as well as the additional games barn which is shared with the adjoining cottage and contains a pool table and table tennis.

Beautiful cottage in an amazing quiet location! Red kites soaring above... The Owner was so helpful in answering the questions we had, and on arrival there was a lovely 'welcome' basket including Welsh Cakes and wine! The narrow roads did take a while to get used to, but we drove carefully as did all the vehicles we encountered coming the other waRead morey.
