This is the 2nd time weve stayed at Harp Cottage and we will definitely go again. Its a nice little cottage, with plenty of room for 5 people and a dog. Its well supplied with kitchen equipment, even has decent knives for food prep. Lots of nice walks, including Offas Dyke which is on the doorstep, where we were nearly the only people on the trail,Read more both times. Great views for watching beautiful sunsets over the valleys. Great communication with the owners. Hide

This is a lovely place if you want peace and quiet. Its fairly remote and amenities such as shops pubs etc are a short drive away but the views are stunning and the walks nearby are great. The cottage is well equipped and we were very comfortable there. The internet is good quality so we had lots of online entertainment options.

Comfortable cottage with beautiful views, especially sunsets overlooking Welshpool. Peaceful location, handy for walks on the Offa's Dyke path. Road access narrow and quite steep in parts, could be an issue in winter months.

The most tranquil of places, great for walking but close to towns and places to visit. Every thing was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. There is enough space for you to be on your own if you wish.

Quite a remote, but excellent location. The bathroom was a little tired, but otherwise a very comfortable cottage. I would certainly return.

Lovely clean and comfortable cottage. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was useful having a utility to store items in. The views from the front of the cottage were stunning and the sunsets were amazing. The cottage is very remote but the peace and quiet is great. There aren't any shops nearby, with the nearest places being Montgomery or WelRead moreshpool which are about 6miles away. The approach to the cottage is up a very steep hill and narrow road. Hide

As a family of 4 with 2 teenagers we were very happy at the cottage. Used it as a base to combine some country walks with visits to places like Powys Castle, Porthmadog-Ffestiniog steam train, and nearby Montgomery (lovely). The Jubilee beacons appearing on the hillsides all around was a memorable sight and we were thankful for the views from Harp Read morecottage. Hide
