Upon arrival, the living room tempts you into sprawling out on the sofa or armchairs and soaking in the warmth from the wood burner while you watch a film on the TV. It has a traditional country cottage feel which makes you feel at home and natural light floods the room in the daytime through the large window. Step a few steps down into the kitchen and you’ll find the pretty kitchen with a four-seater dining table for mealtimes. Adding character to the room is the oil-fired Rayburn, whilst an electric oven is also on offer to create a feast for two. As night falls, you can make your way to the spacious bedroom which boasts a king-size bed and decor inspired by its countryside location. During the winter, the coal effect electric fire ensures you’re perfectly toasty and adds a calming ambience to the space. The modern shower room completes the property with a subtle nautical theme. Spend time outside admiring the picturesque location from the table and chairs on the patio beside the lawn, or saunter down to the woodland and stream for a pretty picnic in the sunshine.
To head off for a coastal walk, you could venture south and join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from Tenby (15 miles) to Saundersfoot, admiring the rugged viewpoints and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival at Saundersfoot, you can make the most of the sprawling beach with plenty of opportunities to try an array of water sports from paddleboarding to canoeing, or simply take a dip in the sea. Back in Tenby, why not hop aboard a sea safari?
