Climb the wooden steps to enter this beautiful bolthole, which has been creatively designed to offer everything you need within one bijou space. The attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/bedroom has underfloor heating yet also features a wood burner to stoke up on autumn and winter evenings. Prepare tasty meals with fresh farm produce in the kitchen area then dine together inside at the breakfast bar or out in the sunshine. Treat yourselves to a sumptuous night’s sleep in the cosy double bed then awake to enjoy a steaming shower in the shower room, which also has an eco WC. Spill out into the fresh air to make the most of your gorgeous outside space on fine days. Grill lunch on the BBQ, fish in the river at the end of the garden and light the fire pit in the evening. Wander around the small holding to see the animals and look out for wildlife.
Head into Llanidloes to go shopping, dine out and visit the town’s museum. Walk 2.5 miles to magnificent Llyn Clywedog, with its glorious scenery. Walk along the shores of the reservoir and see the impressive dam. Keen ramblers might also like to follow a section of the Severn Way, which follows the entire Severn Valley, from the source to the sea.
