We had an incredible stay, the owners and family were really responsive, kind and helpful. We loved the location of the house, the view out the kitchen window was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at Ty-Uchaf. The furnishings and fittings are all comfortable and tasteful and the view from the kitchen window superb. We loved sitting outside with a drink in the garden and at the side of the house. In todays world it is rare to find such tranquility. I enjoyed my stay: the garden views are lovely, really lovely, local hikes in the Black mountains are wonderful, and everything else grand. A comfortable warm cottage- quite isolated which we loved. The road to the cottage is very narrow but we soon got used to it over the week. A good cottage - spacious and well equipped. A very good location for walking in the unspoilt part of the Brecon Beacons. Very peaceful. Lovely views from kitchen and garden. Be prepared for a narrow but quiet approach lane. However this means you can walk from the front door. We enjoyed our stay there.

Well equipped cottage with great views. Really well situated for all the walking and sight-seeing in the area. Hope you're good at reversing - very narrow lanes with few passing places. But rest assured, very little traffic. More likely to meet a stray sheep on the road.

The cottage is perfect for two couples or a family of 4/5, who like to stay off of the beaten track. Convenient for Crickhowell and walking in the Brecon Beacons. The house was warm, clean and well equipped and the owners, who lived nearby but not on site were very friendly. Fantastic views from the garden.
