Cosy cottage features are combined to create an instantly welcoming place to stay in the beautiful North Wales countryside. On the banks of the River Conwy, this delightful abode benefits from a rural position in the Snowdonia village of Ysbyty Ifan, 8 miles from the ever-scenic village of Betws-y-Coed and 15 miles from the lively town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Whilst amenities may be a short drive away, walks and biking routes are available in abundance in the property’s vicinity making it an ideal choice for four guests hoping to get to know Snowdonia on foot or two wheels. Any couple, small family or canine resident will love relaxing in peaceful surroundings after an adventure-packed day.

Warm and welcoming from the moment you cross its threshold; this country cottage is made for year-round stays. With exposed brickwork, a hearth with a working wood burner and original beams, the lounge is the best place to spend time on a blustery winter’s eve. The kitchen/diner offers bespoke fittings and everything you need for cooking just next door, and you can choose to dine outdoors if the weather is right. The property is completed by two bedrooms and a family bathroom located just upstairs.

Along the River Conwy find stunning waterfalls at Rhaeadr Y Graig Lwyd (5 miles), just one of the endless circular walking routes offering spectacular scenery in the surrounding area. Around here you’ll also find the Ty Mawr Wybrnant (8 miles), a National Trust-maintained house that’s the birthplace of Bishop William Morgan and surrounded by pretty gardens. From here discover ancient woodlands and far-flung views of Mount Snowdon when following the Ty’n y Coed Uchaf and Cwm Eidda walk. The cottage is in a lovely village and was perfect for our family and dog. There are walks on the doorstep and lots to visit nearby. Parking right outside the front door was really useful on the stormy days and the cottage was snug on the dark evenings.

We are a family of 4 with a small dog and this was a lovely cosy cottage for our 5 night stay. It is a very peaceful village setting only a mile and a half to the A5 which takes you to many options for day trips etc. The cottage itself was very well presented and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Lovely position, peaceful, scenic, and reasonably close to Betws Y Coed. Cottage - though small - was adequate for four. A very nice venue.

Lovely location with good views and plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. The cottage was well equipped, clean and cosy, but plenty of room for 4 adults and a labrador. Beautiful cottage, very cosy! We use the bbq (just bought coal) and sat in front of the fire each evening, great selection of dvds! Nearest shop is quite the drive, 20 minutes! So just make sure you have everything you need :)

Lovely quaint cottage with everything you need for a stay. Cosy log burner and central heating which came on when cottage temperature dropped, ideal at this time of year. Beds very comfortable and kitchen fitted with everything you could wish for. The few neighbours around were exceptionally friendly and chatty.
