This mid-terraced cottage is perfectly located to explore the stunning Snowdoinia national park with a host of visitor attractions close by.

This cosy cottage in an elevated position and offering extensive views over the town and towards the mountains and estuary in the distance is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing holiday. Situated between the coast and the stunning mountains of Snowdonia, this is a fabulous location for outdoor pursuits enthusiasts and exploring the many visitor attractions in the area, including the steam trains at the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway 3 miles away.

This stylish property, set over three floors, has bold colours in the decor and furnishings bringing a vibrant energy to the house. The house is full of contemporary comforts, making it a truly romantic retreat. Enter the ground floor lounge with a feature fireplace and sofas to snuggle up to watch a film on the Smart TV. Walk down the steep stairs to the kitchen/diner, where you’ll find all the appliances to prepare a romantic dinner or lazy morning brunch. The chic dining table is next to the glowing electric log-effect wood burner and has lovely views from the window. There is a downstairs bathroom. Upstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite WC. Head outside to the paved and decked split-level garden with steps. The garden is enclosed and offers fabulous far-reaching views. Enjoy dining alfresco at the table and chairs or head down to the sunken garden with seating and a BBQ.

Explore the culture, history, and natural beauty of this area of North Wales. Harlech Castle (6.5 miles) enjoys a spectacular setting, overlooking the dunes and coast and has the peaks of Eryri (Snowdonia) as a backdrop. For a day on the beach, head to Harlech Beach (7.5 miles) or Dinas Dinlle (17.5 miles) on the west coast, ideal for swimming and water sports. Hikers can enjoy discovering Cwmorthin Waterfall (8.5 miles) or walk or cycle at Coed y Brenin Forest Park (15 miles).

The cottage is comfortable and roomy, the stairs from lounge to kitchen are a bit steep and narrow, but ok. Over all a lovely cottage.

The cottage was lovely. A great base to get around the wider area. We had everything we needed in the cottage. We could not fault it. Very comfortable and the extra touch of milk, Welsh cakes and wine was very welcome thankyou. The Spar shop in the village with very helpful staff. They made us feel welcome. I would mention this is not the cottage fRead moreor you if one of your party has mobility issues. Due to stairs and parking. Need to unload in the layby and park in street behind. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay here, we had an absolutely fantastic time. A cosy cottage that felt like home away from home, in a brilliant location. Nice, quiet and relaxing after tiring days exploring. Harlech Beach & Black Rock Sands beach were great. Abersoch was our favourite, beautiful bars and restaurants to be enjoyed there! Cottage in good location for exploring both Snowdonia and the Llyn Penninsular, and not far from the beach. Porthmadog really close by for more amenities. On a main road so do hear quite a lot of traffic especially in the mornings and evenings. Recommend the Thai takeaway down the road in the high street, food was really good!

Great stay - we used it as a base for travelling to beautiful beaches. The cottage is very cute, comfy and well equipped. The welcome pack was very welcome. We had everything we needed. It was very clean. Thank you we would recommend.

Lovely cottage, central for points of interset around the area. Only issue is the parking, its either in a car park at the bottom of a hill, or up on the next street, not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Lovely to sit out on the decking and enjoy the views.

Views from the back of the cottage are amazing very hilly area so if you're not too fit bare it mind but we loved it

Loved this cottage. We booked on the spur of the moment and were really pleased with the choice. The cottage was beautiful and comfortable. We used the town car park for ease. The neighbours were friendly, as were all the town people who we met. Phipps, our dog, enjoyed his local walks. Wed love to visit again.

The cottage was lovely, everything you needed was in it. Lovely village, lovely walks, near beaches. Would definitely recommend to stay there.
