Overlooking the green in a postcard-pretty village, this welcoming property has a lovely raised patio where you can enjoy a drink or an al fresco meal. It’s a comfortable base for couples or small families to explore sandy beaches, scenic walks and all the delights of the Gower Peninsula.
Step into the lounge/diner of this appealing cottage and you’ll find comfortable seating gathered around a Smart TV and a wood-burner-effect electric fire. The dining table has plenty of space and, once you’ve eaten, you might linger here, perhaps with a map or a pack of cards. There’s a good choice of books, too, if you fancy curling up and spending some time reading. The light-filled kitchen (up one step from the living space) has all the equipment you’ll need for creating delicious meals, and a breakfast table perfect for a morning cuppa. Also on the ground floor is an area for storing walking boots, and the family bathroom. Stairs lead up from the lounge area to the bedrooms, both with sloping ceilings and characterful beams: a double, which has an en-suite WC, and a twin. The garden includes an area of artificial grass as well as three steps up to a raised terrace, where outdoor seating offers another wonderful spot in which to relax after your day’s adventures, perhaps sipping a drink as the sun sets.
Located in the village of Reynoldston, around 300m from a delightful pub, the cottage is centred within the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – a fantastic destination for walking, cycling and surfing. The coast is no more than 5 miles to the north, west or south, including fabulous Oxwich Bay, where there are 2 miles of golden sands backed by dunes, and Rhossili, where there are amazing views, great sand and excellent surfing waves.
