With its remote location and 76 acres of private land – and spectacular views – this large property is wonderful for a scenic group holiday of up to 10 guests and two pooches. It’s surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Cors Caron Nature Reserve, a vast, wildlife-rich wetland that you can explore on foot or by bike. Despite its rural position, the market town of Tregaron is just 3.5 miles away, offering an abundance of shops, cafes, and a traditional market.
This detached barn conversion has been renovated to a high standard, with a spectacular top-floor living area featuring a high vaulted ceiling, skylights, and elegant A-frame beams. At one end is a large picture window so you can absorb those wonderful views while you relax with friends and loved ones. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances – fantastic for cooking up group feasts – and there’s a pool table for some friendly competition too. When day turns to night, choose from four ground-floor bedrooms – two spacious double rooms and two welcoming twins, served by two well-appointed shower rooms. You’ll also find a delightful king-size bedroom upstairs. From the first-floor lounge, step out to a small veranda for enjoying morning coffee with a splendid view. You’ll have plenty of ground-floor outdoor space too, including a front patio featuring a private hot tub with fantastic views over the Nature Reserve. There’s also a decked area with garden furniture for al fresco dining in the warmer months, and extensive grounds spread across various levels with sloping gardens.
This part of West Wales is popular amongst walkers and hikers, and is within easy reach of the Cardigan Bay coast (13 miles) with its beaches, coves and pretty views. At Tregaron, you can join the Ystwyth Trail, a 21-mile walking and cycling route leading to Aberystwyth (16.5 miles), a thriving seaside town.
