Reminiscent of a traditional country cottage, with a beautiful stone floor and rustic touches, the kitchen/diner will transport you to times past, echoing the rich heritage of the local area. Upstairs, you’ll find four sophisticated bedrooms; charming oak beams and wonderful rural views ensure a peaceful slumber. There’s an en-suite family bedroom with a double and single bed, a mezzanine level with an additional double bed, an en-suite family bedroom with a double and single bed, a mezzanine level with an additional single bed, an en-suite twin and en-suite double bedroom on offer. Outside, dine alfresco on the terrace whilst children let off steam on the large lawn with a trampoline, goal posts and table tennis to enjoy.

This picturesque spot deep in the Brecon Beacons is a playground for outdoor activities, with a plethora of tracks and trails beginning from the doorstep. Stroll the 6-mile track around the largest still water reservoir in the central Brecon Beacons, the Talybont Reservoir (1.5 miles), or join the Taff Cycle Trail which runs past the cottage. Explore the pretty village of Talybont-on-Usk 4.5 miles away, keeping your eyes peeled for a plethora of wildlife before enjoying some fabulous local produce from its wonderful selection of pubs. Discover South Wales’s mining heritage at the Big Pit National Coal Mining Museum 22 miles away or Blaenavon Ironworks 21 miles away.

This beautiful cottage is a true gem. It is arranged to be really flexible for a large family or group, with lots of beds in well-appointed rooms. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. It is has a central square table - ample room for everyone - which creates a lovely setting for big meals. The location is perfect - beautiful walks straight from Read morethe door. Beautiful property and amazing views, very well equipped if you like to cook and supermarkets do delivery which was very straightforward. Great for dogs and lots of space to run but not if your dogs are used to being on furniture or sleep in your bedroom so ideal if your dog is crate trained. Lots of scenic walks and amazing scenery

The house is beautiful, comfortable, full of character and very well equipped. It has a lawn for football, a trampoline, table tennis, a children's cricket set as well as inside table football and pool table plus brio train set, lego and other games and toys. Absolutely met our needs for our family of ten (and still had extra beds for more.. easy 3 more) well equipped for cooking needs. Ideal location for walks from the door. Welcoming owner. Cosy, warm, well equipped cottage. Lovely log fire. Great cottage for a family get together /celebration. Dogs were welcomed.

This is a beautiful property with lots of lovely features and great for a large group or family. There is a large kitchen perfect for entertaining, a really comfortable lounge with a wood burner. Upstairs there are 4 good sized bedrooms and everything seemed comfortable, warm and well put together. What a gem. Surrounded by stunning views and spacious indoors and out. The large well equipped kitchen was great. There were seven adults in our group but we never ran out of crockery, cutlery, pans, serving dishes etc. Honestly, if the kitchen hasn't got it you don't need it. There was always plenty of hot water for showers too which in my experieRead morence isn't always the case when you are a larger group. Rhiannon and Nick are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable. Perfect location, stunning setting. Completely peaceful. Incredible walks from the doorstep. Cottage was spacious and well maintained with lovely hosts.
