Explore the forest and farmland or simply bask in the sunshine and soak up the serenity when stay at this barn in South Wales with your loved one. Nestled on the fringes of Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as Brecon Beacons National Park, the one-bedroom hideaway sleeps just two guests, but also welcomes a canine companion with open paws. From here head off on scenic walks or cycle rides, visit impressive beauty spots, including waterfalls, and spend time at the National Showcaves Centre for Wales, 9.5 miles away.

Dine together in here or out in the garden. When you are ready to retire for the night, climb the stairs up to the first floor of the barn, where your king-size bedroom and its en-suite bathroom are located. Indulge in a superb night’s sleep before awaking to have morning coffee and breakfast out in the sunshine of your sizeable lawned garden.

Such a lovely peaceful retreat. Places around were very welcoming of dogs so we weren't restricted on where we went either. Felt very relaxed returning home.

Highly recommend. What a lovely place, cottage, family and farm. We took our one year old Sheepadoodle, who had the time of his life rolling around the grass in the huge cottage garden, having a play date with one of the farm dogs, and running off lead in the fields & forests just meters from the cottage, also owned by the same family. Nice place, dog loved it. Garden was secure enough that our dog stayed in it ( You do have to go round side to get in) but be warned the farm dog jumps the fence and joins you. Ours thought this was great and we were more than happy to have them play but might not suit everyone. Great cottage in a fantastic location. Easy to access from the main road, considering the farm location. The cottage was warm, welcoming and well equipped and the secluded and secure rear garden was perfect for our dog. Even though it's on a working farm, the property was lovely and quiet and when inside the cottage you couldn't hear any farm noiseRead more. I would suggest taking a torch with you as if you did want to have a night walk, it's very dark :) We wouldn't hesitate to return to this cottage. Hide

A lovely warm and delightful little cottage. It was a perfect location for walking in the Brecon Beacons. It was also great to be able to take our dog and there was a dog friendly garden so he couldnt escape. Would definitely stay again.
