Inside, the property has a reverse-level layout and is decorated in a country cottage style. On the first floor, you’ll find an inviting lounge/diner, boasting far-reaching views and a cosy wood burner for winter nights. Talybont-on-Usk is a charming village with a shops, post office, bike hire shop and 2 pubs and a cafe. The village is a fantastic base for walkers, with easy access to routes in the Black Mountains, along the Taff Trail, through Talybont Forest, and following the banks of the rivers and canal. Just outside the village is Talybont Reservoir, where you can spend the day fishing, bird watching, wild swimming, or walking to the nearby waterfalls. Further afield, enjoy day trips to Brecon, Abergavenny, or Hay-on-Wye (all within 20 miles).
