A 0.75-mile private drive leads to this white farmhouse, with lovely rural view from every window, Full of light, it has a bright sunroom, linked to the lounge/diner by a large, double aspect wood burner. Both living spaces have comfortable seating, and the lounge has an elegant dining area. The homely country kitchen houses a traditional dresser and a Range Master oven that will inspire keen cooks. Upstairs are two pretty double bedrooms, both with en-suites. Outside, the large garden has splendid valley views, with a BBQ and choice of seating areas.
Enjoy a stroll around Talybont-on-Usk’s art and crafts shops and pick up a guide to the many local walks and cycle rides. You can hire a bike for a gentle cycle ride along the tranquil Monmouthshire and Breacon canal towpath or take a relaxing boat trip. Or hire a boat and amble down the waterway. See the magnificent cathedral in the bustling, market town of Brecon (7 miles) and visit 900-year-old Tretower Court and Castle (6.5 miles). The Breacon Beacons are a designated dark sky reserve, so switch off the lights on cloudless nights ; you might see the Milky Way.
