A luxurious glamping retreat perfect for families, within verdant farmland surroundings and close to the well-known cycling hub of Talybont-on-Usk, the beautiful River Usk and the Talybont Reservoir.
Treat yourselves to a spot of luxury camping when you go glamping with your nearest and dearest at picturesque Talybont-on-Usk. Sleeping six guests, this three-bedroom retreat offers the chance to stay in a splendid timber and canvas lodge in picturesque surroundings within Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons. Close to the River Usk and the Talybont Reservoir, it offers an abundance of opportunities to get close to nature. Return from your forays to relax outside in a steaming, wood-fired hot tub or toast beside a crackling wood burner inside the sumptuous hideaway.
Make your way into the retreat, which is one of three luxury lodges on a farm. From the covered veranda, wander into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to discover your exquisite relaxation space. Light the wood burner in here during the autumn months, prepare delicious meals in the kitchen and gather round the table when you choose not to dine out in the fresh air. Your three unique bedrooms include a queen-size, a twin and a cabin bed that two of the children will just adore. This is accessed by a wooden ladder. A separate, but private, family shower room, with WC, is in another pod close to the main lodge. The wood-fired hot tub is also outside and is a lovely place to unwind as the sun sets. Play games with the children on the great expanse of grass; go rowing or even swimming in the pond and ask to join in farm activities.
Enjoy walking, fishing and bird watching at the Talybont Reservoir, 2.5 miles away. Stroll 400 metres down to the Monmouth and Brecon Canal to walk along the tow path. Venture 7 miles into bustling Brecon to potter in the interesting shops, dine out and hire canoes or take a cruise on the canal.
