Bring together family and friends in this spacious holiday home in the heart of the Mid Wales countryside. The property, which sleeps ten guests, boasts an impressive kitchen/diner with far-reaching views, as well as a choice of outdoor social spaces. The ancient town of Builth Wells is just 1 mile from the property, and you can also enjoy day trips to Brecon and Hay-on-Wye (both within 20 miles).
The luxurious abode is set on the edge of a working farm and has a reverse-level layout to really make the most of the rural views. On the ground floor, you’ll find four exceptional bedrooms, all with their own, unique style and Smart TVs for enjoying lazy mornings in bed. One of the bedrooms has a stylish en-suite shower room, and there is also a family bathroom on this level. An elegant, wooden staircase leads to the first floor and the light, open-plan kitchen/diner with luxurious underfloor heating and far-reaching countryside views. The sleek kitchen area – featuring marble worktops, high-end appliances, and a breakfast bar – is the perfect spot for whipping up tasty treats for the group, which you can share at the large table for ten. On a summer’s day, throw open the French doors to the balcony to further extend the social space. An open doorway leads through to the vibrant lounge, with statement sofas set around a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner. Completing this floor is a gorgeous king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. A few steps lead down to the games room, where you can while away the evening playing pool and listening to music. Outside, you’ll have a choice of areas to relax in, including two glass-fronted balconies with outdoor furniture, a patio area with a hot tub, a terrace with a BBQ and furniture for al fresco dining, and an enclosed lawn where children can play.
Builth Wells is an attractive town full of beautiful, stone houses and historic buildings. As well as independent shops and eateries, you’ll also find antique stores, vintage shops, and art galleries to potter around. The River Wye and Irfon meander through the town, and there are some lovely walking routes along their banks. Just outside the town, the Royal Welsh Show takes place every July. For keen cyclists, the Lon Las Cymru cycle route passes through the town.
