This flat would make the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, or it could facilitate a small family – and a horse! Get ready for days of hiking, biking and riding around, and exploring the local area. If you’d like a larger holiday, this property can be booked with a neighbouring cottage.

Ascend the outdoor stone steps and enter. The largest room is a lounge/diner, which has a kitchenette on one side. It’s a sociable place, and when you light up the flame-effect electric fire, you’ll feel warm, cosy and relaxed. To one side, there’s a triple bedroom, which has one double bed and a single bed. You could take your partner, and a friend or a child for this trip. There’s also a shower room with a WC. Outside, you’ll have a patio with a BBQ, so on sunny afternoons why not make some delicious food and enjoy the warm weather? You’ll be close to the stables, so if you choose to bring a horse, they can stay there or in a field.

You’ll be staying in a rural area with lots of wildlife, so bring your binoculars! The Bannau Brychieniog National Park is 10 miles away, great for all sorts of outdoor activities. Perfect hideaway in the valley. Fabulous granary/cottage set in a very peaceful, rural setting on a working farm with plenty of wildlife on your doorstep.. Very well equipped cottage. Audrey and Owen were marvellous hosts and made us feel so welcome. If you just want peace and quiet then this is the place for you!

If you rely on WiFi then this is not the property for you, but peace and quiet and country views are plenty. Roads to the property are narrow, but managable and Brecon has lots to offer. There is a shop in Sennybridge about 4.5 miles away ( it's a petrol station) with Caffe and shop for basics, Brecon has an Aldi and Morrisons for a bigger shop.

Thank you so much to Audrey and Owen for a very comfortable stay - it truly was a little home from home! The scenery was beautiful and the property was easy to get to. We were well looked after and could not have wished for a better time during our stay. We would highly recommend staying at Meadow View Granary and fully intend to return should we vRead moreisit Brecon, Wales again! Hide
