Embrace nature in this rural retreat in the heart of the Welsh countryside. Sleeping six guests, the property is perfect for friends and families who enjoy exploring the great outdoors. The area is a paradise for walkers, with both the Cambrian Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) within 10 miles. For shopping and retail therapy, the vibrant market towns of Llandovery and Llandeilo are within easy reach. In the evenings, chill out in the shared hot tub or take a sunset stroll around the 80-acre grounds.
The spacious holiday home is set on a working farm, within a complex of similar properties. Inside, you’ll find a light-filled abode, decorated in a contemporary style, with ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. Enjoy sociable gatherings in the large kitchen/diner, where you’ll find a fitted kitchen with plenty of worktop space, and a wooden table to seat all six guests. After dinner, unwind on the sumptuous sofas in the vast lounge to watch TV and chat about your day. The three cosy bedrooms are upstairs, along with the family bathroom. Outside, bask in the Welsh sunshine on the patio, whilst the children play on the lawn. There’s also a shared hot tub and guests are welcome to explore the extensive grounds surrounding the property.
Both Llandovery (6.5 miles) and Llandeilo (18.5 miles) are well worth adding to the holiday itinerary. The market towns are considered two of the prettiest in the area, thanks to their colourful buildings and winding streets, and both boast a fabulous array of independent boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants. Just outside Llandeilo is Dinefwr National Trust, which is a beautiful place to wander around on a summer’s afternoon, with its magnificent, landscaped parkland and medieval deer park.
