Step inside and be greeted by the galley kitchen with original farmhouse elements including a Belfast sink. Move through to the welcoming lounge/diner where exposed stone walls, low-hanging beams and a wonderful wood burner create the cosiest ambience to unwind in. The bathroom is also downstairs, making it easy to access whilst relaxing throughout the day. Move upstairs via an open tread staircase to reach the single bedroom, furnished with a king-size and a single bed. Finally, heading back out the front door you’ll find a grassy garden that’s enclosed and private, complete with garden furniture and a BBQ for those laid-back summer’s eves.
Whilst the larger tourist towns of Hay-on-Wye (10 miles) and Brecon (11 miles) are just a drive away, the property is within easy reach of the smaller market town of Talgarth (2 miles), a place with plenty of amenities to keep you going. On the outskirts of this, Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve (3 miles) is an incredibly scenic place to walk with an easy route through woodlands and past a waterfall. Another easy-to-approach walk is Llangors Lake (4 miles), where you can follow the circular trail along the water.
