Cottage was very cosy and well located for a vast number of walks and several on the doorstep step. If you come with a dog, there's a lovely place called The Wholeyard where you pay a small fee and they have the use of 4 acres to run around in. Very close to Brecon for shops.

Lovely cottage, just found the stairs a bit tricky to negotiate as quite steep. Everything you need for cooking etc. Bed lovely and comfy, recliner seat in the lounge fantastic. No exit from in side house to back garden. Had to go out of front door and around to back garden. Found awkward with 2 dogs. Bear in mind access to cottage from main road is a single track lane and very windy used mostly by tractors. Found this quite stressful. Apart from these points enjoyable stay.

Had a nice bottle of wine left for us and the fire was appreciated after a long day out. Everything was nice and clean and had lots of books and DVDs in the cottage for days of bad weather.
