See the beach and countryside from this stunning family house, which sleeps eight people situated in a small Welsh village, complete with an attractive garden and private hot tub.

Ideally located for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, this family-friendly holiday home is a great base for adventures. For a scenic day out, suitable for all ages, visit the Brecon Mountain Railway which travels along the heritage line in style with awe-inspiring views out of the windows and refreshments along the way. At the end of each day, you’ll love taking a dip in the hot tub beneath the stars to truly unwind.

Encouraging guests to kick back and relax is not one, but two lovely living room spaces, both with calming neutral colour palettes, sumptuous sofas and enjoying direct access to the garden. The kitchen adjoins one of the living spaces creating a social hub, with a breakfast bar seating four and a spacious kitchen set up where you can cook up a storm for all the family. When it’s time for a feast, set yourselves up in the traditionally styled dining room to share memories and meals. Completing the ground floor is the wet room. Take the stairs and you’ll find the four bedrooms, each tastefully styled. Three rooms feature super-king-size beds and the final room is a twin, ideally suited to children. When the sun is shining, the garden is the place to be, with sun loungers and garden furniture fit for an array of occasions, as well as the fantastic six-seater hot tub which is a welcome treat at all times of the year.

If you’re in search of adventure, why not pack a picnic and venture to Henrhyd Falls (8 miles)? Here you can experience the majestic spectacle of the cascading water on the Henrhyd Falls and Nant Llech circular mountain walk and soak up the serenity of your surroundings. Whilst the property sits in the countryside, the coast is also within reach. Take a trip to Port Talbot, located just 17 miles away, with its 3-mile sandy beach of Aberavon being a fantastic location for a family day out.

This is such a comfortable and luxurious place to stay. Really well equipped including robes and towels for the hot tub, and very dog friendly too. We had a great week despite a lot of rain. It's a good base for walking, waterfalls, Brecon Beacons, and beaches. Owner on hand next door if you have any questions. We'll be back!

This is a very comfortable and well equipped property which is in a very good location to explore the Brecon Beacons, the Gower peninsula and the rest of south central Wales. Steve, the owner who lives in the adjoining property, is very attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. We would certainly recommend this cottage.
