Set at the heart of a friendly village, this charming bungalow offers family-friendly accommodation close to a pretty shingle and sandy beach and a plethora of countryside walks.

Return from days on the beach and long coastal walks to the comfort and welcome of this single-storey Welsh holiday home. Situated in Jameston, West Wales, the two-bedroom, dog-friendly hideaway sleeps four guests, making it perfect for a small family or two couples. It benefits from an enclosed garden and is just 1 mile from beautiful Manorbier Beach and 2.5 miles from picture-postcard Shrinkle Haven.

Let yourselves into your new home from home to rest and recuperate after your adventures. Head straight through to the kitchen to unpack the fresh Welsh produce you have bought and put the kettle on for a cup of tea to enjoy with the sweet bara brith bread from a local bakery. Prepare delicious meals in here too, then serve up at the table in the lounge/diner or outside in the garden on sunny days. While away your evenings relaxing on the soft seating in the lounge/diner in front of a good film or your favourite programme on TV. At the end of each fabulous day away, treat yourself to a steaming hot shower in the family shower room and a great night’s sleep in either the king-size bedroom or the twin. Have morning coffee and even breakfast out in the garden on fine days. Let the children or your four-legged friend play on the grass before you head out for the day.

Pack a picnic and make your way down to one of the gorgeous beaches along this stretch of coastline to go swimming or surfing. Pick up the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and follow it for a spell in either direction. Head into Pembroke, 5.5 miles away, to potter in the shops, dine out and spend time at its spectacular, medieval castle. The popular seaside resort of Tenby is just 6 miles away.

Lovely bungalow, home from home. Freshwater east and Barafundl beaches are a must to visit. We also visited Pembroke castle and Lovely Tenby. The only disappointment was the local pub was closed for refurbishment.

An excellent location for a pint, and a chippie was but a short walk away. There were plenty of walks and drives to the nearby beaches. The bungalow was well appointed and clean with everything you could want, and the garden was perfect for our dog to bark safely at everyone! An excellent holiday that we all thoroughly enjoyed. The cottage was generally clean but is really in need of some updating and disappointed with just a tatty bench to sit out in the garden Bedrooms very dated, 1980s furniture. Clothes smelt a bit after being in the wardrobe as so old Bit out the way no shops nearby.

Property was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a stay. Close to nice pub just over the road and is in a fairly quiet location. Path to coast path is well worth the walk as the local beach is very nice indeed. Only small downsides are most attractions or things to visit are at least 20 mins drive away (and frequently more) Read moreand no close large supermarket nearby. But would still recommend. Hide
