Enveloped by the fabulous beauty of the Pembrokeshire National Park, this fantastic farmhouse invites guests to enjoy a restful stay on Wales’ south coast. Situated in Lydstep, a quiet coastal village with access to the coast path and a fabulous beach, you’re sure to experience a slow, peaceful pace of life during an invigorating stay here. The cottage is a 400-year-old delight with spacious rooms and elegantly presented décor, hosting a total of six guests and well-suited to families or friends looking to escape.
The ground floor is split into two spacious rooms, the kitchen/diner for all of your foodie needs and the lounge next door to relax in when mealtimes are done. With cosy seating options, an electric fire, a TV/DVD and a selection of board games, you’re invited to enjoy one another’s company in this lovely lounge space. When the sun shines, move out to the back of the cottage where a large grassy garden invites endless ball games and drinks on the patio. However you spend your evenings, when the day draws to a close it’s time to move indoors and head to bed. Three bedrooms, a double with an en-suite and a twin and a single that share a family bathroom, are laid out on the first floor.
Any good country cottage should neighbour an inviting village pub, and this one does just that. Enjoy refreshments and socialisation at the pub just metres away after a long day on Lydstep Beach (1 mile). The beach is a tranquil destination with an arc of golden sand and incredible Caldey Island views. Naturally, it’s located right on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, with endless sights to be seen whilst following this walking route either east to Tenby (4 miles) or west to Freshwater East (4.5 miles).
