Converted cowshed set on a farm at the heart of Lydstep, a quiet village with a popular pub, pretty beach and easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Gather your family and get ready for a traditional seaside holiday. Located on a working farm, this 17th-century converted cowshed is about 500 metres from the nearest beach and surrounded by the beautiful Welsh countryside. Take day trips to nearby attractions and spend your time making memories with your children, away from the distractions of everyday life.

The property opens directly into an open-plan living space, where you’ll have a kitchen, lounge and diner in one. There are laundry facilities for those who need them, the kitchen area is well equipped, and the lounge is comfortable and sociable. Continue to the bedrooms. This cottage has a double bedroom with wooden finishes, perfect for some quiet time after the kids are in bed, and there’s also a twin room which is lovely and peaceful. The interior of the property is completed with a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside, you’ll have access to a shared courtyard with picnic tables, so you can take your meals outside on fine days and admire the gorgeous view.

You’ll be staying 4 miles away from Tenby, a charming harbour town with plenty to keep everyone entertained. The gorgeous town walls were originally built in the 13th century so any historians in the group will be pleased. Head there for an afternoon of playing on the beach, then enjoy a meal at one of the town’s eateries. Historians should also visit Lamphey Bishop’s Palace, 5.5 miles away, where you can explore the ruins and learn about the people who lived there. Finish with a trip to Manor Wildlife Park, 3.5 miles away, to see wild animals and have fun in the play park.

Had a really nice stay here. I have a car so it was easy to nip into Tenby/Saundersfoot or in my case all over Pembrokeshire. Just a 5 minute walk and you're right on Pembrokeshire coastal path with stunning views. Really great location. Owners are lovely. They will help with anything straight away if you need it. But leave you to relax and enjoy yRead moreour holiday. I will definitely be returning again hopefully soon. Hide

A mixed experience for us: Pros: Good location, spacious and mostly clean. Cons: We had a confusing start, with no welcome pack or travel cot on arrival. The cottage is tired and needs some tlc. From numerous minor repairs such as broken laminate sections and kitchen bin pedal, to smaller touches such as not a single set of matching cutlery. In shoRead morert, it's ok, but definitely feels like 3 star until it gets some more love, and probably one to avoid with kids or those with mobility concerns. Hide

Lovely time at this house. Spacious home, all on ground floor level. Well equipped kitchen with all essentials. Cool at night too as easy to get a through draft. On main road so good easy access to all areas of Pembrokeshire. Hosts welcoming and friendly.

A lovely, well fitted out cottage. The biscuits, bread and margarine left for us were greatly appreciated. Conveniently located with a nice pub across the road. A very comfortable place from which to see Pembrokeshire.
