Whisk your loved one away on a break to this charming glamping pod with a private hot tub near Hereford for a romantic adventure. Just 6 miles away, you’ll find the fascinating city of Hereford which is filled with interesting architecture, a grand cathedral and an array of independent shops and eateries to fill your day.

As you step into the hut through the covered doorway, you’ll fall in love with its character from the wood-clad arched ceilings to the thoughtful finishes. To one side, is a large comfortable sofa where you can sprawl out to watch a film, whilst the opposite side is filled by a cleverly designed kitchen area featuring a hob, countertop oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, to ensure you have everything you need to cook up a meal. In addition, a two-seater table and chairs sit beside the front door. The king-size bed is tucked away in a cosy nook, with a pretty window above the headboard looking out towards the farmland. Through a separate door, you’ll find the contemporary shower room. Enveloping the pod is a pretty seating area with a table, chairs and chiminea for added warmth, as well as the private hot tub which is the perfect antidote to a long day of walking. Guests are also welcome to book a free coarse fishing trip on one of the two lakes, or spa treatments from the owner’s mobile spa before arrival.

Spend a day wandering beside the River Wye (5 miles) with a picnic in your backpack and you’ll be in awe of the diverse wildlife, flora and fauna found on the riverbank. Why not spend a day exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park? Hay-on-Wye (23 miles) is a beautiful bookshop town, perfect for a leisurely afternoon out, whilst Sugar Loaf Mountain (24 miles) offers a challenging climb which will reward you with magnificent views from the summit.

Lovely place to try out some sheltered glamping. Surprisingly spacious inside, and decently kitted out if you are cooking meals. The large awning lets you enjoy the outside space and BBQ even when the Summer rains are pouring. And such a peaceful and pretty location to stop and enjoy nature, from the outside seating, to the bench by the lake, to thRead moree warmth of the hot tub. Hide

Fabulous location, so peaceful and beautiful. The bed was super comfy and the pod had everything I needed. I received a very warm welcome from Ginny & Alan and their family and they were always on hand if I needed anything (which I didn't) but they gave me space and privacy. I wouldn't think twice about returning.

We received a very warm welcome and showed how to work the hot tub. The welcome pack was really appreciated. There were generous supplies of tea, coffee and sugar as well as some lovely treats. The location by the lake and overview to the woods is very serene. The garden is a great size for dogs and secure, our BC had a great time! The pods are in a lovely location on a working farm, great area to access the Forest of Dean, Ross & Hereford. The pods have everything you need and hosted by Alan & Gilly who were happy to help with advice on what to do in the area & where to walk. The hot tub was great even in the March snow!!
