Family and dog-friendly Freshwater East beach offers a vast expanse of sheltered golden sand and rock pools, backed by sand dunes. Visit the charming seaside village of Manorbier (4.5 miles) and explore its splendid medieval castle overlooking the sea. Stroll down cobbled streets past painted houses in the picturesque walled town of Tenby (8 miles), with its three beautiful beaches. From the harbour you can catch a boat trip to unspoiled Caldey Island, home to a monastery.
