Plan excursions to beauty spots and attractions, such as the slate caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, 17 miles away. Follow the Tryweryn Trail along the banks of the river Tryweryn and through woodland. This route can be picked up 4.5 miles away, close to the National White Water Centre, where those who are daring can also go rafting.
