This bijou cottage is quaintly pretty and offers everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Located in the heart of wonderful Aberdyfi, it’s an ideal seaside getaway for a couple or small family.

Step from the street through the glazed door and into the open-plan living space of this cute cottage, a bright yet cosy room where you can recharge after a day’s adventures. The kitchen area is equipped for preparing hearty breakfasts and tasty suppers, and there’s a dining table tucked under the stairs where you can enjoy your meals and plan your next activities. After dinner, snuggle up on the sofas and relax, perhaps with a show on the TV or a DVD. When you’re feeling tired, make your way up the cottage-style stairs to the charming bedrooms, a double and a bunk-bed room, which share a shower room.

The charming and popular village of Aberdyfi is located at the mouth of the Dyfi Estuary as it flows into the sea, in the southern part of the Snowdonia National Park. Your cottage is just 200 metres from Aberdyfi’s gorgeous beach – 4 miles of golden sand with dunes behind, and where you can swim, sail and try out a variety of water sports. There are also boat trips from the harbour for fishing, wildlife-spotting and simply enjoying the gorgeous views. The village’s links course is a big draw for golfers, and there’s a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in town. In Tywyn, 4.5 miles, you can go back in time with a vintage cinema and a steam railway, while if you’re feeling energetic head inland to climb the celebrated peaks of Cader Idris, 16 miles.

There is no outlook to the property and the sofas are very uncomfortable so not a relaxing place to stay. The location is central but overall very disappointed with this place and left 3 days early so did not get value for money.

Just got back from a great week at the cottage. 2 adults, 2 young teens. We thought the cottage was perfect for our needs, great location, comfy beds etc. Obviously the cottage is small but we didn't find that an issue. WiFi worked well, shower very powerful, hot water, kitchen well equipped.

Whilst small the cottage is good for a one/two person person stay. Very close to all amenities. Would be happy to come back.

We were a party of 2 adults and 1 child, and this property was ideal. Nice and cosy with everything you need to relax and eat in, and a great location for going down to the beach or ice cream shop!
