Offering stunning views over the River Dyfi as it flows towards Cardigan Bay, this spacious waterside property makes a fantastic holiday retreat for larger families and groups of friends discovering a picturesque corner of North Wales. With ample space for up to eight guests, the four-storey townhouse lies close to a secluded pebble beach on the outskirts of Aberdovey, with the main sandy beach a short stroll away. Ideally situated for climbers, hikers, walkers and nature lovers exploring Snowdonia, this cheery residence features two cosy lounges and four relaxing bedrooms.
Four steps lead up into the property where you will find a spacious lounge/diner with lovely views from the bay window. The inviting lounge is a great space for getting together and unwinding after enjoying a great meal in the handsome dining area. The ground floor also has a fully equipped kitchen perfect for rustling up family feasts. Upstairs, the first floor offers a second lounge: a cosy space with a magnificent outlook, perfect for snuggling up with a good book or movie. The first bedroom is also on this floor: a relaxing twin. On the second floor you will find a bathroom and two bedrooms: a twin and a double overlooking the water. Steep, cottage-style stairs lead up to the third floor and into the final bedroom: an atmospheric double with sloped ceilings and timber beams, including a raised beam along the floor. Outside, there’s a small, unenclosed back yard. Crossing the road, the narrow beach offers a charming spot for paddling and sunbathing.
Aberdovey has some fantastic pubs and restaurants, with a wonderful sandy beach stretching north along the coast to Tywyn (4 miles). This is a great base for water sports, boat trips and coastal walks, or for heading inland to explore the majestic Snowdonia National Park.
