With breathtaking views over plunging cliffs and secluded coves, this dog-friendly apartment is ideal for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. While away days birdwatching and fishing on the Ogmore river, exploring sandy coves and walking coastal trails. Then return here to rest and recharge while watching crashing waves from your sofa.

Enter the communal farmhouse building and climb the stairs to this first-floor abode. Step inside to find a light and bright space that seamlessly combines comfort and style. With its neutral decor and large windows overlooking the sea, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner forms the heart of this chic apartment. Styled with striking mosaic tiles and equipped with everything you need to prepare home-cooked treats, the kitchen is a delight to cook in. Then settle around the dining table to savour your creations over a bottle of wine. Get cosy on the large corner sofa, thoughtfully arranged so you can watch TV or simply gaze out at the view. When it’s time to rest your head, get comfy under the covers of the king-size or double bedroom, each with a convenient en-suite shower room. A snug with two adult-sized bunk beds provides additional sleeping space for larger groups.

While this apartment doesn’t have any private outdoor space, it’s set on a small complex of three properties, which share access to an onsite bar and cafe, and a garden with picnic tables. From here you can pick up the 14-mile heritage coast path stretching between Aberthaw and Porthcrawl, or venture north to the expansive golden sands and rock pools at Ogmore-by-Sea (1 mile). Observe wading birds where the river meets the sea, or see if you can catch your dinner at this popular angling spot. Ten miles inland, the market town of Cowbridge boasts a selection of independent shops and eateries.

We loved this spot we were there in February so we had some rainy days and some sunny days , and it was equally good on both - on the sunny days the walks nearby were magic , and on the rainy days staying inside and watching the sea was just brilliant! Having the cafe downstairs was a fun little bonus!

What a beautiful property! We loved every minute, overlooking the cliffs and with sheep wandering free (our one year old happily waving to the baa baas!) with a wonderful cafe tucked on the ground floor for our breakfast and lunch needs. The furniture is comfortable, the views are perfect and the whole place is so spacious. The icing on the cake waRead mores the cleanliness of everything - it was sparkling. We intend to book again and make this a regular destination for our family holidays. Hide

Tusker is in a fantastic location right on the coast path. We found the property clean and comfortable. Having a bus service on the doorstep and pubs and restaurants near by is a bonus. Cafe staff were very polite and helpful.

The position of this apartment is amazing , the entire area is beautiful and unspoiled . The beds were very comfortable and the linen was fresh and white . Kitchen is well equipped and everything was spotless. We would return at any time.
