This coastal retreat is in the idyllic village of Penally, just 2 miles from the colourful seaside resort of Tenby. The apartment enjoys far-reaching sea views and welcomes four guests, making it a delightful couples’ retreat or base for a small family. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes close to the apartment, and you can follow it for 1.5 miles to reach the golden sands of Tenby’s South Beach.
A shared hallway and internal staircase lead to this first-floor apartment. Inside, hang up your coats in the hallway before moving through to the elegant lounge/diner. This bright, inviting room is decorated in neutral tones with wooden furniture and a spectacular picture window looking out across Tenby’s golf course to the sea beyond. Spend time here, watching TV from the plump sofa or sharing memorable mealtimes at the dining table. A separate, galley-style kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break. The apartment has two tastefully decorated bedrooms – a sumptuous king-size room and a twin bedroom, served by a well-appointed family bathroom. Outside, to the front of the property, you’ll find a peaceful, shared seating area. To the rear is a quiet, shared garden space.
Penally is an unspoilt coastal village with a handful of pubs and restaurants, along with a friendly village shop. The sheltered beach is sand and shingle, and rarely gets busy, even in the height of summer. The beach joins up with Tenby South Beach, and you can enjoy a stroll along the shoreline to embrace the hustle and bustle of one of Wales’s most popular beaches. Tenby (1 mile) is a vibrant seaside resort with many independent shops and eateries, along with museums and family attractions. You can also hop on a boat at the harbour to visit the beautiful Caldey Island.
