Excellent accomodation. Just right for two people and a dog. Out of the way location. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent gardens for our dog and a court yard to the property for sunbathing or just relaxing outside. Accommodation to a high standard.

Excellent accommodation, the studio was well equipped, containing everything you needed and was immaculately clean. The location was peaceful and tranquil with stunning views away from the hustle and bustle of daily life but only approximately 1.5 miles into quaint town of Hay-on-Wye and the scenic walks down by the river Wye. The owners Jim and SaRead morerah were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend- 5 stars Hide

What a beautiful place to stay. The studio had everything we needed. We loved the space, peacefulness and tranquility of the place. It was a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding beauty, Hay-on-Wye as well as other places a little further away. We were sad to leave. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at the Old Forest House (Studio) for a week and have rebooked again for the same week next year. For us, location was excellent (yes, it is up a long steep road, but not a big deal from our POV). The owners were very pleasant (didn't see them much) and we loved the quiet, the morning bird song, the sun (maybe we were luckyRead more) and a good location for local walks. Hide
