With its stylish and colourful interiors, sunny courtyard garden and outdoor hot tub, this detached holiday home offers a luxurious base for visitors to St Asaph. Nestled at the heart of one of Britain’s smallest cities, this two-bedroom abode provides ample accommodation for four guests, making it ideal for a family break or a getaway with friends. After fun-filled days exploring cultural and historic sites, enjoying windswept coastal walks and picturesque country trails, this delightful property offers a charming space to rest and recharge.

Light and spacious throughout, this chic and elegant cottage features a neutral colour scheme enlivened with bold pops of colour and artworks of the natural world. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a warm and welcoming space that invites sociable evenings in. Rustle up delicious meals in the handsome fitted kitchen, and settle around the dining table to wine, dine and chat together. Make the most of warm weather in the enclosed courtyard garden, whether dining al fresco, curling up with your current read on the outdoor sofas, or bubbling beneath the stars, glass of wine in hand. Alternatively fill the air with laughter and chatter as you enjoy quality time with your loved ones in the relaxing lounge. When bedtime calls, choose between two distinctive bedrooms: a ground-floor king-size room with en-suite shower room, or a first-floor super-king-size with a freestanding bathtub and en-suite shower room.

Designated a city for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, St Asaph is home to reputedly the smallest ancient cathedral in Britain; this striking building houses the William Morgan Bible, the first bible translated into Welsh. Host to the North Wales International Music Festival, numerous walking trails and an abundance of shops and eateries, it’s an interesting base for visitors to Denbighshire. Beach lovers can head to Abergele (8 miles) or the larger resorts of Colwyn Bay or Prestatyn (both within 14 miles).

Overall pleased with the property and location but concerns that there is no upstairs toilet and access to downstairs toilet is via steep stairs with no handrail.

Attention to detail was superb. We loved every minute of it. I like that quality appliances had been used around the cottage. If I had one gripe it would be that we needed to stay longer. Thank you both for a wonderful time.

Cannot fault the property at all , lovely homely touches where they'd literally thought of everything you have at your disposal in your own home - have no hesitation in recommending to others first class , no issues at all.

Lovely property with an equally lovely back story! Our second visit staying at Bwthyn Beci, but our first time meeting the owners. Both were lovely and quick to fix a minor issue with the heating on arrival. Location is as fabulous as the high spec of the interior. Within a 10/15 min drive of Rhyl and Prestatyn for a day out. Also a multitude of waRead morelks (ALLTrails) within North Wales that are just a short drive away. I would 100% stay here again and would encourage everyone I know to do so! Hide
