With plenty of space for up to ten guests, the property features big bay windows offering panoramic views of the estuary as it heads out towards the bay, and there’s even temporary mooring so you can launch your boat out to sea. Just a few metres from a beach, this airy, light-filled retreat is a fabulous base for discovering the southern reaches of Snowdonia.
The spacious ground floor features a welcoming kitchen/diner with additional seating space, making a fabulous spot for preparing and sharing your favourite meals. Upstairs, the first floor has a delightful lounge with window seats providing views over the estuary towards the bay. With plenty of seating and a Smart TV, this is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a great day. This floor also has the first bedroom – a cheerful king-size room, alongside a shower room with underfloor heating. Further stairs lead to the second floor with the main family bathroom and an en-suite king-size bedroom. The two final bedrooms are on the third floor: a cheerful bunk bedroom for three guests, and a family room with two double beds. The basement has laundry equipment and storage space. Outside, there’s further space for bikes and paddleboards alongside a hot shower for washing off sand.
Crossing the road, the pebble beach is a lovely spot for paddling, fishing and picnics. The main beach stretches for four sandy miles, and Aberdovey is home to a choice of fantastic pubs, galleries, shops and restaurants. Local attractions include Dolgoch Falls, Craig Yr Aderyn and the Museum of Modern Art in Machynlleth, all within 10 miles.
