This modern, light-filled lodge is located in a newly developed holiday park within the quaint village of Penally. You’ll have a friendly local pub, a restaurant, a coffee shop and a bakery within 500 metres. The village is only 1.5 miles from the historical seaside resort of Tenby, which you can reach on the local train (it’s 0.5 miles to the station). Alternatively, join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (0.5 miles) and follow the scenic route which delivers you directly to the town’s lovely South Beach. With space for four guests, this holiday home is ideal for a family or two couples.
You’ll enter into a hallway which leads to a spacious open-plan living area on the right-hand side. This space encompasses a lounge, kitchen and dining area, and is decorated in tones of cream and light grey, with uplifting splashes of yellow. Windows on three sides allow plenty of light in. Two plush three-seater sofas are positioned around a Smart TV so you can gather together and watch films in the evenings. The dining area offers a social space where the family can gather and enjoy meals together. Outside, a raised patio at the front of the lodge overlooks the park, equipped with seating so you can enjoy the fresh air. That’s when you’re not luxuriating in your private hot tub, of course …
In Tenby, known for its Victorian appeal, wander around the pretty harbour and explore cobbled streets lined with fish and chip shops. The neighbouring coastal villages of Saundersfoot (4 miles) and Lydstep (2.5 miles) are also worth the trip, both accessible via the coast path. Other nearby attractions include Dinosaur Park Tenby (2 miles, ideal for children) and the National Trust site at Colby Woodland Garden (7.5 miles).
