A haven for nature lovers, this cosy log cabin is set amongst running streams and rolling hills opposite animal paddocks.
Grill something tasty on the BBQ, gather around the firepit or soak in the bubbling hot tub… the enclosed garden of this appealing lodge has it all. An ideal getaway for two or a rural escape for a small family, it’s a perfect base for walking, cycling, water sports and golf, close to the lovely town of Llandrindod Wells.
Just across from the paddocks where there are horses and goats, the lodge is a welcoming and well-equipped space where you can relax after a day out exploring. Step straight in to the open-plan living space, where you’ll find a well-designed kitchen area with an island unit incorporating a breakfast bar for two. There’s a separate dining table, too, where you can enjoy hearty breakfasts and drawn-out suppers, play cards or look at a map. When it’s time to stretch out for the evening, head to the comfortable sofas that are arranged around the Smart TV and wood-burner-effect electric fire. There are two compact bedrooms here, a king-size and a twin, which have hanging rails and storage space, and share a shower room. For open-air enjoyment, head out to the enclosed garden, which has a lawn and a patio where you can drink or dine al fresco. Let the warmth of the fire pit accompany a cooler evening, or sink into the hot tub for rejuvenation after a day’s outdoor activities.
