Climb four steps to reach the entrance of the hut, which is powered by solar panels. Step inside to find a cosy and well-organised open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a wood burner. To your left, is a compact kitchen area with a single gas hob, a sink and an ice box. The sofa, which looks out onto the garden through the large bi-folding doors, unfolds into a double bed. On the right, is a shower room with a free-standing power shower and a composting WC. Outside, you’ll find a decked terrace with a bistro set. Down the steps is a lower-level seating area and a path leads to an open fire pit and beyond here is a Lay-Z-Spa hot tub.
While staying in the countryside near the village of Efailwen (3 miles) and 3.5 miles from Clynderwen, you could explore the surrounding riverside walking trails and meet the animals at Pembrokeshire Llama Sanctuary (0.5 miles). For a romantic meal out, visit Narberth (8 miles). Head north into the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and tour the historic landmarks, like the Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber (13 miles). Soak up the panoramic views from Dinas Mountain (14.5 miles) or relax on the secluded Aberfforest Beach (17.5 miles).
