This spacious Welsh farmhouse, boasting a games room and a lovely garden with a hot tub, is the perfect setting for a family holiday to enjoy the very best of Wale’s coast and countryside.
As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a welcoming hall which leads through to the lounge, equipped with comfortable sofas, a smart TV, and a picture window. Continue your journey into the stylish kitchen/diner with views over the garden. If you choose to dine in, you’ll find everything you need right here. Walk through the utility/boot room to the convenient ground-floor wet room. After dinner, retire to the snug with its sofas and warming wood burner or head to the games room with its pool table. Upstairs, three generously sized bedrooms await: a king-size, a zip-and-link twin room (which can be made up as a super-king-size upon request), and a double room. The tiled family bathroom is also on this floor. The house offers three outdoor areas: the front garden with established hedging, the side patio furnished with seating and a charcoal BBQ, and the attractive rear garden, mostly laid to lawn with trees, shrubs, plants, and panoramic views toward the Clwydian Mountains. This is a delightful space to savour afternoon tea at the table and chairs or enjoy the bubbling hot tub.
The cottage is 2.5 miles from Holywell, famed for St Winefride’s Holy Well, one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. Enjoy a round of golf at Pennant Park (1.5 miles away), visit the local riding school or drive to the sandy beach at Prestatyn (8.5 miles). For walkers, this area is a paradise with the Wales Coast Path, the Pennant Walk, Offa’s Dyke, and the Clwydian Range nearby. You can also visit Mold (13.5 miles), home to a street market, annual food festival, and Theatr Clwyd. Don’t miss the historic town of Chester with its Roman walls and amphitheatre, or the Victorian splendour of Llandudno, both with 25 miles of home.
