The practical and well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to rustle up meals that can be eaten together around the dining table. When you are ready to get some much-needed rest, choose from one of four en-suite bedrooms, there are two doubles, and two twin bedrooms. Dine alfresco and enjoy an evening tipple in the enclosed paved garden that sits in the rockface of the castle above.
You can enjoy both the Welsh countryside and coastline from this wonderful retreat. The town of Harlech has a range of shops and eateries, as well as a beautiful sandy beach backed by dunes. The castle sits atop a rocky crag overlooking the beach and has far-reaching views of the Snowdonia mountains. Take a trip on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway (5 miles) which stretches from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog passing stunning views through mountains and forests. If you are feeling particularly adventurous, don your walking boots and climb Yr Wyddfa (17 miles).
