Plan a group trip to this fabulous retreat and explore the magnificent Usk Valley with your family and friends. Sleeping up to 10 guests, the five-bedroom former farmhouse nestles in Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons National Park. Situated on a working farm 1 mile outside Crickhowell and 7 miles from Abergavenny it enjoys sizeable gardens and captures impressive views. Access is along a gated lane and ample private car parking is available.
Make your way inside to find airy, beautifully furnished accommodation, which still presents many period features. From the striking hall, head through to the spacious kitchen/diner to unpack the Welsh produce you have bought, make a fresh cup of coffee and light the wood burner. Open the French doors on to the garden on summer days instead. Call your group to the table to enjoy lively meals together. Pass fun-filled evenings in the large lounge, where there is another wood burner, a Smart TV and ample space for everyone to spread out. A family shower room and utility/boot room are also downstairs. When you are ready for bed, climb the stairs up to the first floor. The bedrooms here include three king-sizes, one with an en-suite bathroom, which has a gorgeous sunken bath, and another with access to a Jack and Jill shower room. This shower room is shared with a twin room that can also be made up as another king-size by prior arrangement. The final bedroom is a double. There is also a beautiful family bathroom upstairs. Spill outside to play games on the lawn, BBQ in the fresh air and enjoy a cocktail together as the sun sets over the hills.
Head out on long walks beside the River Usk and climb the Sugar Loaf Mountain, 7 miles away. While away hours browsing in the shops and pausing for afternoon tea in Crickhowell or Abergavenny.
