The property has a plethora of luxury features, including vast entertaining spaces, underfloor heating, a cocktail bar, games room, and two hot tubs. The Georgian market town of Montgomery is 5.5 miles away, and has a great range of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants.

You’ll approach the stunning barn conversion via the 200-year-old cider press, and enter via an impressive oak door. Inside, the holiday retreat oozes style and sophistication, with characterful exposed brickwork and reclaimed beams sitting alongside luxurious furniture and decor. You’ll be welcomed into a lobby area, where you can store all your outdoor gear, and onto the grand hallway and open-plan living space. The elegant, bespoke kitchen has everything needed to cater for a large group, as well as a cocktail bar with swivel bar stools and a handy utility room. After dinner, chill out in the snug where you’ll find a selection of books and board games, or gather in the games room with its ¾ size snooker table and Smart TV. Six of the fourteen bedrooms are located on the ground floor, and all have step-free access and individual doors to the garden. Four of these bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and there’s also a ground-floor wet room. Heading upstairs, you’ll find the remaining eight bedrooms, six of which have en-suite facilities. Rounding off this exceptional property is an indulgent family bathroom. Outside, a magnificent enclosed entertaining space awaits, with two hot tubs, furniture for al fresco dining, BBQ, and fire pit. Children can play outdoor games on the lawn or burn off steam on the climbing frame and swings, whilst you sit back and admire the fabulous rural views.

The area is awash with walking tracks and trails to explore, including along the River Rhiw which passes through the village or following the towpath of the Montgomery Canal, which can be joined 4 miles away. The National Trust Powis Castle and Garden (5 miles) makes a lovely day out, with its fascinating medieval architecture and Italian and French-style garden. Alternatively, step back in time with a jaunt on the steam trains of the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (4 miles), which chug for 16 miles through the tranquil Mid Wales countryside.
