You’ll approach the stunning barn conversion via the 200-year-old cider press, and enter via an impressive oak door. Inside, the holiday retreat oozes style and sophistication, with characterful exposed brickwork and reclaimed beams sitting alongside luxurious furniture and decor. You’ll be welcomed into a lobby area, where you can store all your outdoor gear, and onto the grand hallway and open-plan living space. A cosy lounge area, with a roaring wood burner and Smart TV, offers the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing, and a spectacular dining area, comprising three hand-crafted timber tables, is the ideal setting for hosting memorable dinner parties with your nearest and dearest. The elegant, bespoke kitchen has everything needed to cater for a large group, as well as a cocktail bar with swivel bar stools and a handy utility room. After dinner, chill out in the snug where you’ll find a selection of books and board games, or gather in the games room with its ¾ size snooker table and Smart TV. Six of the fourteen bedrooms are located on the ground floor, and all have step-free access and individual doors to the garden. Four of these bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and there’s also a ground-floor wet room. Heading upstairs, you’ll find the remaining eight bedrooms, six of which have en-suite facilities. Alternatively, step back in time with a jaunt on the steam trains of the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (4 miles), which chug for 16 miles through the tranquil Mid Wales countryside.
