Head out and explore the beautiful countryside in the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Park, and wander along the local country lanes. You can go fishing on the River Dee nearby and visit the impressive Grade I-listed Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (7.5 miles). Take a ride on the steam train at Llangollen (3.5 miles) and explore the medieval fortress of Chirk Castle (8 miles) then pop to the local inn for a real ale (less than 150 metres away).
