Escape to the Welsh countryside with four of your loved ones and stay at this beautiful period retreat in Snowdonia National Park. Chase waterfalls and walk along trails from the doorstep by day before getting cosy in front of the wood burner or dining alfresco and admiring the views in your own private garden.
Inside, this cottage combines style with character in the way of contemporary furnishings and traditional features such as an exposed stone fireplace and quarry tiled floors. Prepare delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in the practical kitchen, and spend time together tucking into the meals, or playing games, around the dining table set in front of a window with lovely views. Get cosy in the lovely lounge area to watch films and to warm up in front of the wood burner. When you are ready for some shuteye, head upstairs to the two spacious and pretty bedrooms. Choose from a king or a twin bedroom which both contain a TV and have beautiful views to wake up to. Completing the accommodation’s interior is a stylish bathroom with bubbling spa bath. Across the quiet road out of the front of the house is a large, gravelled garden which has superb views and plenty of space for al fresco wining and dining.
This delightful home is situated in the little village of Arthog on the fringes of Snowdonia National Park. Head off into the rolling hills, mountains, and valleys on the many footpaths and cycle routes. You can also join the scenic Wales Coast Path which passes through Fairbourne (2.5 miles) or spend a day on the fabulous beach in Barmouth, which is accessed 11 miles by road, or across the estuary on the water taxi.
