This stunning converted corn mill is nestled deep in the Herefordshire countryside in the charming rural hamlet of Rudhall. With spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests, this unique stay features everything needed to host a fuss-free stay within glorious grounds.

Steeped in local history and dating back to 1795, this simply perfect home is a fantastic choice for walkers, cyclists, and those wishing to unwind. Drop down bags and coats in the porch and make your way into the welcoming kitchen where your head chef will surely appreciate the sheer amount of amenities. Whip up feasts and serve in the formal dining room, which is perfect for those celebratory suppers that last well into the early hours. Recline with full stomachs in the impressive main lounge, where pillowy seating and a large TV beckon guests to relax with a tumbler of Welsh whisky, while teenagers can escape to the on-site games room. Five tasteful bedrooms cater for a variety of visitors, including a king-size with an en-suite bathroom for added privacy. After a great night’s sleep, the children can let off steam in the extensive gardens while the adults admire their idyllic surroundings with a freshly brewed cup of tea.

Pack a picnic and make your way around the 5-acres of land directly available from your doorstep; a wildlife lake, arboretum and park walk are yours to explore at your leisure. Further afield, enjoy riverside walks along the Wye or ascend the trail to Symonds Yat Rock (10.5) for a better look across some of Wales’ most spectacular vistas. Those keen on golfing can shoot 18 holes at Ross-on-Wye Golf Club and South Herefordshire Golf Club, both within 4.5 miles, while those seeking a unique shopping experience may like to visit the market towns of Monmouth (10.5 miles) or Ross-on-Wye (2 miles).

A lovely, well equipped house perfect for a big family reunion. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was much appreciated. Ian was very helpful and was at the end of the phone to sort out any problems we encountered.

Absolutely lovely, a perfect location and beautiful property. There were 11 of us aged from 3 to 80 everyone had a fantastic time. The walk around the lake and grounds on a frosty morning is definitely recommended.

This was a beautiful large house with lots of spare beds throughout! The garden was fabulous! Itd be lovely in summer. The kitchen was a great hub for our gathering of friends. It was well equipped & clean. The lounge fire doors wouldnt shut properly which meant we missed out on relaxing by the fire! It was a perfect spot for a countryside walk intRead moreo Ross. The Mill is really lovely and the grounds are beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed spending a family get together in this large and comfortable property. Overall, it was really well equipped, and in fantastic condition. Theres plenty to do on site and in the surrounding Wye valley although dont expect to catch many fish in the lake! The cottage was a delightful retreat! The cozy interior had a rustic charm, with comfortable furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen.
