As well as being extremely picturesque, this location is rich in opportunities to go walking, cycling, golfing, wild swimming, sailing and fishing so you can become part of the scenery yourself. Nearby, you can visit Harlech’s medieval clifftop castle (2.5 miles), a UNESCO World Heritage site or challenge yourself at St David’s links championship golf course (3 miles). Not forgetting Harlech’s outstanding sandy beach backed by sand dunes, where you can enjoy a picnic and a swim. Further afield, discover Criccieth Castle (14 miles) or lose yourselves in the spectacular Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park (19.5 miles), or spend an afternoon at picturesque Portmeirion Italianate village (8 miles).
