Situated along the northern banks of the River Dyfi in the heart of the harbourside town of Aberdovey, it would be hard not to fall in love with the homely, historic cottage. Perfect for couples and small families, explore everything the Dyfi Estuary has to offer, from windswept coastal walks to blood-pumping water sports activities.

Featuring a roaring wood burner, a soothing neutral colour palette and extra special homely touches, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasts a warmth which invites you to unwind at the end of a busy day. Hunker down on the comfy sofa and catch up with your favourite programme on the Smart TV or whip up a locally sourced feast and enjoy making special family memories seated around the dining table. When bedtime calls, head upstairs to find two light and bright bedrooms, one double and one single with access to the courtyard garden, both dressed in crisp white linens that ensure a peaceful rest. Make the most of your fresh, seaside air by dining alfresco with a glass of something chilled in the courtyard.

The picturesque harbour village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey) is home to a championship golf course and miles of dune-backed golden beaches perfect for a traditional bucket and spade day on the sand. The cottage is clean, warm and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the linen is good quality. I like the fact that it had everything I needed for self catering but it was not cluttered up with unnecessary items. The location was perfect for me; close to the beach and handy for the shops. A great butchers shop just along the street and village sRead morehops around the corner. Hide

Lovely tidy & clean cottage in a good location for all amenities , even though we did get woken up by speeding cars going up the tight little street at the front on most days. The courtyard at the back of the property was very small and confined and we did not use this at all during our stay. All equipment in the cottage that you need for a relaxinRead moreg stay Hide
